TNT reinforcement Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has not played in a Game 7 be it in the NBA or the PBA.

As a member of the Brooklyn Nets from 2015-19, Hollis-Jefferson had been to the playoffs, but no series reached a deciding Game 7.

But that does not mean that the PBA's three-time Best Import would not be ready for the Tropang Giga's deciding match against Ginebra in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup Finals on Friday, March 28, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.

“I've never been in a Game 7. But at the end of the day, it's basketball. It's do or die for both sides. It's win or go home,” said RHJ after TNT's pulsating 87-83 win over the Gin Kings in Game 6 Wednesday, March 26.

After suffering back-to-back losses, the Tropang Giga finally struck back behind Hollis-Jefferson's 29 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Though he nearly cost TNT the series after muffing a pair of free throws with nine seconds left in the contest.

Fortunately for TNT, Hollis-Jefferson nailed another pair of charities that iced the game for good.

“It's give everything or don't show up at the end of the day. So, I think I'm ready. I have that mindset to come in and give my all,” the 30-year-old cager said.

“Fight like always to help us win. So, that's going to be the mindset going into the game. Doing whatever it takes," he added.
