Matt Nieto gets another W.
Three-time UAAP champion and current NLEX Road Warrior Matt Nieto added another ring to his collection. On Thursday, the 26-year-old point guard married Bianca Matanguihan, which was followed up by a beautiful celebration at the Tagaytay Midlands. The guest list was filled by familiar names from the basketball world.
Among his well-wishers was his former Ateneo backcourt mate, Tyler Tio who was also one of the guests. While they’re practically rivaling young floor generals now that they’re in the PBA, with Tio playing for the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters, it was all love between the two.
Nieto’s NLEX teammate Anthony Semerad captured the picturesque backdrop of the big day as he congratulated the newlyweds.
NLEX big man and the top pick of the 2022 PBA Draft Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser was also present at the occasion along with other members of the Road Warriors, which included the legendary Asi Taulava.
CSB Blazers and Strong Group Realty head coach Charles Tiu appears to be one of the wedding’s principal sponsors. His greeting said, “Congrats inaanak @realmattnieto5 and Bianca!”.
Matt Nieto made the leap to the next important chapter of his life. He will now have to juggle his time between being a husband and a professional basketball player. But we know that the former Blue Eagle is more than capable of managing his busy schedule. He was once a student-athlete who also represented the country as a member of the Gilas Youth squad. He’s been trained well.
