Former San Miguel import Chris McCullough is on the road to recovery following a torn ACL in March 2022 while playing for New Taipei in Taiwan's P. League+.

On Twitter, the 6-foot-10 forward hinted at possibly playing at the upcoming East Asia Super League EASL Champions Week, taking place in Utsunomiya and Okinawa in Japan from March 1-5.

This may have amplified the rumblings of McCullough possibly playing for the Beermen during the tournament. The 6-foot-10 forward, however, immediately denied the reports.

In his time with the Beermen, the 27-year-old McCullough averaged 33.8 points, 14 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.3 blocks, and 1.3 steals, steering San Miguel to the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup crown.
