While fans are busy online bashing players and fighting among themselves in defense of their idols, the players have nothing but love for each other—at least not during their fierce battles in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference.
Eya Laure and Jovelyn Gonzaga once again proved that with a heartwarming exchange shared on Instagram.
In a story, the Bionic Ilongga revealed Laure's recent message to her.
The younger volleybelle started the chat with an expression of gratitude and further heaped praise at the veteran lefty.
"Nang Jov, marami pong salamat sa pag-check sa akin kahapon sa game nung natapilok po ako. Sobrang sarap niyo po kalarom wala ka pong kupas," Laure said in the message.
Gonzaga replied via an IG story with a caption, "Eya is Eya! Love you always."
The exchange came following the Chery Tiggo Crossovers' emotional five-set win over the Cignal HD Spikers.
Laure led the Crossovers with 26 points, while Gonzaga had 11 markers.
Both teams are neck-and-neck in the upper half of the standings so despite all the love given, expect all-out performance from these two when they get back in action.
