On the heels of a breakthrough win against UE in their last outing, the Adamson Soaring Falcons are on the hunt for back-to-back wins this UAAP Season 87 against the UST Golden Spikers.
Now that their end-game skid is in the past, the Adamson Soaring Falcons are aiming for more.
The San Marcelino-based squad seek to string back-to-back wins for the first time this UAAP Season 87 men’s volleyball tournament, locking horns with the UST Golden Spikers in the curtain raiser, Saturday, March 1 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay.
Match time is at 10:00 a.m.
Adamson secured their first win under head coach Raffy Mosuela thanks to four-set triumph over UE to send the Red Warriors reeling to a third straight loss.
Jude Aguilar and Leo Coguimbal led the charge with a combined 33 marks in the game where Soaring Falcons hosted a block party to UE, finishing with 18 denials in which eight came from Coguimbal.
Ronn Domingo provided stability in playmaking with 19 excellent sets.
“Masaya ako sa first win ko as head coach ng Adamson. Worth it yung aral namin doon sa ginawa namin sa kalaban,” Mosuela said in the post-game press conference.
Can Adamson carry their momentum and earn another victory, this time against last season’s runners’-up in UST?
