PVL players and fans alike expressed shock and extended their well-wishes after F2 Logistics Cargo Movers outside spiker Jolina dela Cruz suffered an injury in their game against the PLDT High Speed Hitters on Thursday.
Dela Cruz was attempting to dig an attack from PLDT's Savannah Davison in Set 2 when she appeared to have extended and twisted her leg while at the back row.
She immediately went down, crying out in pain.
Dela Cruz was then stretchered out of the match, which the High Speed Hitters won via sweep, 25-21, 25-27, 25-23. It was F2 Logistics' last game of the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference.
Chery Tiggo Crossovers' Eya Laure immediately posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, to express her support with prayer emojis.
Dela Cruz and Laure have been quite close, having competed against each other since their UAAP days.
Choco Mucho Flying Titans' Des Cheng was more succinct in expressing her thoughts.
She herself suffered a season-ending ACL tear last month.

The High Speed Hitters also extended their prayers for Dela Cruz.
F2 Logistics has yet to make the diagnosis for Dela Cruz public, but fans have already sent their love to Dela Cruz, who was having a standout conference as the league's 11th top scorer and 10th best spiker.
F2 Logistics played the conference without star spiker Kim Kianna Dy, who is also recovering from an injury. The Cargo Movers ended their campaign with a lowly 4-7 record.
