‘All worth it’: Des Cheng gives heartfelt message for F2 Logistics after disbandment
PVL

Before being a Choco Mucho Flying Titan,  Des Cheng was part of the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.

Playing for the De La Salle Lady Spikers in college, it almost seemed inevitable that Cheng would play for the green-heavy Cargo Movers.

It all started in 2016 when Cheng was still recovering from her first ACL injury as she joined F2 Logistics as a libero—yes, that’s right, a libero.

There, Cheng slowly but surely found her confidence once more as she would later return to her natural position as an outside hitter.

Given how close she was with the Cargo Movers and how the team help her during a most trying time in her career, the announcement of F2 Logistics' disbandment also certainly struck the recovering Cheng hard.

In her Instagram Story, Cheng posted a photo of her first season with F2 Logistics, writing a heartfelt message to her former team as it bid goodbye to the PVL.

“My first ever league/semi-pro team after recovering from ACL as libero,” wrote Cheng. “6 years with you was all worth it @f2cargomovers.”

Indeed, the news has become a difficult pill to swallow not just for fans but also for the current and past players of the Cargo Movers.

But as they move on with their lives and possibly join new teams in the coming months, the memories from their time with F2 Logistics will forever be remembered for sure.

Just ask Des Cheng.
