While the Akari Chargers are in Japan primarily for their electrifying training camp, they’re also juicing up their experience with some fun adventures in the Land of the Rising Sun.

After an intense training session, the Chargers take a break to soak in the sights and sounds.

They plugged into the culture by visiting the stunning Fushimi-Inari Temple in Kyoto.

Faith Nisperos, Maxine Juangco, and Steph Bustrillo embrace their inner “commuter girlies,” zipping around on Japan’s famous bullet trains like pros.

Ysa Bakabak joined the crew for a trip to the Toyota Museum, where they couldn’t resist snapping some pics for the ‘gram.

“Visited the Toyota Museum on our free day. My heart is happy,” Maxine shared.

And of course, no training session would be complete without some pro tips from the amazing Sachi Minowa (formerly known as Jaja Santiago), whom they enjoyed a meal with at a local eatery.

With the Akari Chargers all charged up, they’re ready to electrify the upcoming PVL conference.
