The Creamline Cool Smashers added another piece of hardware to their already stacked collection after sweeping the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference.
Game 2 of the FInals against sister team Choco Mucho Flying Titans went all the way to the fifth set but the girls in pink managed to keep their record immaculate en route to the title.
After claiming the W, Jema Galanza shared how badly the team wanted the title and why their fire kept going even after losing key players before and during the conference.
"Ayaw lang namain na matapos ‘tong laro na hindi kami ‘yung nananalo kasi ang dami na naming pinagdaanan, ang dami na naming pagod, pressure, sobrang bigat na ng nafi-feel ng team namin kasi ang dami talagang adjustment," Galanza said.
"Ayaw naming masayang kahit ‘yung maliit na bagay na ‘yun. So talagang, kahit isang point na lang ‘yung kalaban kailangan naming ipanalo, kailangan naming habulin."
Creamline remains the winningest club in the PVL with seven total crowns and it looks like the Cool Smashers are not done winning by a long mile.
