Akari Chargers star Faith Nisperos has slowly but surely found her footing in the PVL.
In her second year in the league, Nisperos has become a dependable go-to scorer for the Chargers, who looked quite impressive in the recently concluded PVL Second All-Filipino Conference.
In her first season with Akari, the 23-year-old Nisperos got to play with notable veterans as well as promising stars.
But of course, there’s always that hope of playing someday with her dream teammate.
In a teaser of the latest episode of Pilipinas Live’s original series Aces, Nisperos revealed the spiker she wishes to play with the most: None other than the Clutch Queen herself, Alyssa Valdez.
To make it more interesting, Faith said this to Alyssa herself on the show.
“That would be you, of course,” said Nisperos, when Valdez asked who her dream teammate is.
“Iba pa rin na someone I idolized, I looked up to. To be actually on the same court, lalo na representing the country, that would be one dream come true,” she added.
It's no secret that when she was growing up, Nisperos really followed The Phenom's career.
Both Nisperos and Valdez played for the Ateneo Blue Eagles and were seen as stars of the team.
While teaming up with Valdez in the PVL seems a bit far-fetched for now, the two could eventually be teammates if called upon for the national team. After all, both have suit up for the flag international tournaments.

Who knows, right?
For now, it’s a friendly competition between Nisperos and Valdez whenever they see each other on the court.
Off the court, it’s full admiration and respect from one superstar to another.
