A great acquisition for the squad.
When the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers disbanded earlier this month, a roller coaster of emotions took over within the team and its fanbase. After all, the squad has undeniably made its mark in Philippine volleyball.
PVL followers, meanwhile, were on the lookout as to which franchises would be the new homes of the ladies in yellow.
The first announcement came from the Cignal HD Spikers with their signing of the veteran libero Dawn Macandili-Catindig. Of course, it was welcome news for Cignal’s most ardent supporters. It’s not often a team gets a five-star floor defender, and obviously, the HD Spikers pounced on the golden opportunity.
Macandili-Catindig is currently on vacation in Los Angeles. Still, way ahead of the next PVL season and her debut with the HD Spikers, the De La Salle Lady Spikers legend is already putting in work.

She was in her element, for sure.

This early, Ms. Everywhere is showing that Cignal made the right move in acquiring her services.
Macandili-Catindig has always been lauded for her work ethic. She even does weight training, lifting plates three times heavier than her five-foot frame. Without a doubt, what she brings to the table will be a positive for Cignal.
The HD Spikers finished third in the last two PVL conferences. Perhaps their new weapon will be the difference-maker that will get them over the hump.
