A devoted Ginebra supporter, Choco Mucho head coach Dante Alinsunurin hopes the Flying Titans continue to channel the "Never Say Die" mantra in their 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference campaign.
After the Choco Mucho Flying Titans' straight-set rout of the Cignal HD Spikers on Thursday, head coach Dante Alinsunurin had a chance encounter with Gilas Pilipinas stalwart Justin Brownlee.
Brownlee had dropped by PhilSports Arena to watch the Philippine brand of volleyball and meet his self-confessed idol Sisi Rondina.
For showing support to the local volleyball scene, Alinsunurin is grateful for Brownlee's initiative.
Alinsunurin could not hide his elation as he requested a picture with Barangay Ginebra's resident import.
After all, the multi-titled mentor has long been a part of the Ginebra faithful.
Of course, the "Never Say Die" mantra has resonated with Alinsunurin for all these years, and he's channeling that same fervid spirit in Choco Mucho's redemption bid in the season-opening conference.
Importante pa rin sakin yun," he added.
With a 4-0 record to their name, the Flying Titans seek to continue their winning surge, and Alinsunurin is well aware that they'd be needing every ounce of motivation available to make that happen.
Fortunately for them, the ever-growing fan base of Choco Mucho is more than willing to provide the much-needed fuel to their fire.
Choco Mucho will aim for 5-0 against the PLDT High Speed Hitters on Tuesday, March 19, at the Filoil EcoOil Arena.
It will be aired on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.
