Sisi Rondina is set to fulfill her dream of playing for the Philippine women’s national volleyball team, as she secures her spot on the roster for the upcoming AVC Challenge Cup for Women.
Sisi Rondina has long been representing the Philippines in beach volleyball, but she has yet to don national colors for the indoor circuit.
That is all about to change as Rondina prepares to realize her dream of competing for flag and country on the taraflex.
The Choco Mucho star confirmed to One Sports that she has received a call-up to join the Philippine women's national volleyball team, slated to participate in the upcoming AVC Challenge Cup for Women.

“Alam nyo pangarap ko dati talaga – to play indoor sa bansa natin, kaso lang I stopped dreaming of it kasi sa mga commitments ko dati sa beach and sa ibang liga,” Rondina bared.
“Pero ngayon unexpected na kasama pala ako. Grateful ako.”
The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) has yet to unveil the official roster for the forthcoming international tournament, slated to run from May 22 to 29 at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum. However, aside from Rondina, Jia Morado also confirmed her participation in the international joust.

Rondina, a two-time Southeast Asian Games bronze medalist for beach volleyball, should be a major boost for the national squad.
Though standing at 5-foot-6, Rondina has made a name for herself through her reliable scoring prowess and ever-improving defensive skills, evident from her recent performances for Choco Mucho in the Premier Volleyball League.
Rondina just steered the Flying Titans to a commendable runner-up finish in the 2024 All-Filipino Conference, where she emerged as the Best Outside Hitter.
