From assistant coach to head coach, Shota Sato will look to steer the Farm Fresh Foxies to victories in the upcoming PVL 2024 Reinforced Conference.

Sato was previously tapped by the Foxies as an assistant coach under former coach Jerry Yee during the All-Filipino Conference.

But now that Yee has moved to the renamed ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, who own the first pick in the 2024 PVL Rookie Draft, Farm Fresh was left looking for a new tactician to lead the young squad.

Already familiar with their system, Sato will be in charge of guiding the Foxies to a better record this time around, along with their import, Colombian outside spiker Yeny Murrillo.

The 25-year-old Murrillo played for Arizona Western College and Grand Canyon University and is expected to bring her international experience after playing in club leagues in Greece, France, Cyprus, and Czechia.

Farm Fresh also has the fourth overall pick in the Rookie Draft.

Murillo, along with their pick, will strengthen the talented Foxies lineup, which includes Trisha Tubu, Kate Santiago, Caitlin Viray, and Louie Romero.

For the Reinforced Conference, the Foxies are placed in Pool A, which also features All-Filipino champion Creamline, PLDT, Galeries Tower, and Nxled.
