The Capital1 Solar Spikers aim to turn their campaign around as they face the Akari Chargers in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Saturday, February 1, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

With a 1-6 record, the Solar Spikers are desperate for a breakthrough win after suffering a straight-sets defeat to ZUS Coffee last time out.

Struggling to find consistency, Capital1 will need a stronger offensive showing, as team captain Jorelle Singh was the only player to reach double figures with 10 points against the Thunderbelles.

To challenge the Chargers (4-4), the Solar Spikers must step up their scoring efficiency and provide better support for Singh.

Their defense will also be tested against an Akari squad eager to secure back-to-back wins.

Rookie libero Roma Mae Doromal has been the lone bright spot for Capital1 for the conference, placing 5th among Best Diggers with 3.68 excellent digs per set.

As the Solar Spikers fight to stay competitive in the standings, the team will look to deliver an improved performance and break its losing skid when the match begins at 4:00 p.m.
