The Creamline Cool Smashers look to keep their perfect record intact and tighten their grip on the top seed, when they face the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday, February 6, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

The Cool Smashers (7-0) are coming off a hard-fought five-set win over the Cignal HD Spikers, where they overcame a late scare to secure their seventh straight victory.

Bernadeth Pons was the hero of that match, delivering a stellar 27-point performance built on 24 attacks, two aces, and a block.

With the playoffs fast approaching, head coach Sherwin Meneses will continue to rely on Creamline’s deep roster, featuring top guns Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza, and Bea De Leon, to maintain their dominance.

Setter Kyle Negrito also remains instrumental in orchestrating their well-balanced attack, ensuring the defending champions stay sharp against a Chery Tiggo squad eager to bounce back.

De Leon is currently third among Best Blockers, while Negrito is second among Best Setters.

Creamline, however, could be without superstar Alyssa Valdez, who was seen tending her right knee in their previous match.

A win against the Crossovers (5-4) would not only extend the Cool Smashers’ unbeaten run but also bring them one step closer to a possible preliminary sweep.

Creamline will look to bring its trademark championship poise and firepower when action begins at 4:00 p.m.
