The Farm Fresh Foxies notched their fifth win after completing the reverse sweep against the Capital1 Solar Spikers, 18-25, 21-25, 26-24, 25-19, 15-12, in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Tuesday, February 18.

The Foxies returned to the win column after back-to-back losses, improving their record to 5-6 for eighth in the standings.

Despite their slow start, Farm Fresh, who was without star Trisha Tubu due to some back spams, managed to turn things around behind the efforts of Rachel Anne Daquis and Caitlin Viray.

With momentum on their side, the Foxies pulled ahead early in the fifth set, building a three-point lead at 7-4.

But the Solar Spikers would not go down that easily as Jorelle Singh, Des Clemente-De Guzman, and Heather Guino-o trimmed the deficit to just a single point at 10-11.

But leading 13-11, Farm Fresh would not be denied of the victory as Rizza Cruz brought the team to match point before Daquis sealed the game with a cross-court kill.

Daquis finished with 19 points on 17 attacks and two blocks, marking her best game since her PVL return.

The Foxies will first await the remaining preliminary round matches before finding out their opponent in the qualifying round.
