The stage is set for a thrilling finale.

The deciding Game 3 of the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference Finals and Battle for Bronze will be held at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City on Saturday, April 12.

PVL Commissioner Sherwin Malonzo confirmed that the league initially tried to book the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao and the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay for the highly anticipated winner-take-all matchup, but both venues were unavailable due to prior commitments.

“Actually for Saturday, Philsports lang talaga,” Malonzo told One Sports. “We tried Araneta but it’s reserved for UAAP. We also tried MOA but there’s a big K-pop concert this Saturday.”

With Philsports Arena being the only viable option, the PVL decided—together with the participating teams—to implement a split ticketing scheme to accommodate fans for both matches scheduled that day.

“Our first match, the battle for bronze, will start at 3:00 p.m., and then the battle for the gold will be at 7:00 p.m.,” Malonzo added.

The Creamline-Petro Gazz rivalry has once again lived up to its billing, with the best-of-three series currently tied at 1-1 after the Cool Smashers rallied to win Game 2 in five sets.

The Choco Mucho-Akari showdown will also reach a winner-take-all match after the Flying Titans ended their four-game losing skid in Game 2.

With everything on the line, fans can expect fireworks in what promises to be a fitting end to another intense PVL conference.
