With one game left, Jema Galanza is ready to give it her all.

The Creamline Cool Smashers are heading into winner-take-all Game 3 against the Petro Gazz Angels in the 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference Finals at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Saturday, April 12.

Galanza, who finished with 13 points in Creamline’s hard-fought five-set win in Game 2 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, made it clear that she and her team are ready to give everything they’ve got to defend their crown.

“Sinabi lang talaga namin na kaya namin ’to, na hindi kami papayag na matatapos ’tong season na hindi nakukuha ’yung championship,” Galanza said during the post-game press conference.

While it wasn’t her highest-scoring outing, Galanza’s steady presence and timely hits were crucial in extending the series--including the match-winning service ace.

For her, just being able to contribute significantly again was already a meaningful step, especially after being limited in the semifinals due to a right thumb injury.

With everything on the line this Saturday, Galanza said there’s no time for doubt—only focus and fight.

So wala nang ibang iisipin kundi gawin ’yung trabaho. Focus lang talaga kami. Io-all out na namin lahat,” she said.

Galanza also acknowledged the emotional weight this season carried—from the grind of the elimination round to the adversity Creamline faced on and off the court.
