Kudryashova, meanwhile, was all praises for the team’s close-knit atmosphere and the passionate home crowd.
“Our teammates, they’re the best, they are the absolute best. Every single one of them brings a lot of energy, even the bench," Kudryashova shared.
“Everyone is really supporting each other and showing love to each other. It’s really nice playing for Creamline, and we love it.”
The Russian spiker added that the opening match also offered something they had never experienced before: a sea of fans rallying behind them.
“Me and Nastia, we have never played with such a nice crowd, and I never experienced so many people supporting us. [I feel] so many emotions,” she bared.
“That was feeding us during the game. It helped us play better, really."

Up next for the Cool Smashers will be Kazakhstan’s Zhetysu VC, a team Kolomoyets and Kudryashova are all too familiar with, having faced the team during their time with VC Kuanysh.
Match is on Monday, April 21.
“We know this team, and it’s going to be a really tough and nice game to play,” said Kudryashova.
“We’re just going to be professional and do everything that’s in our power to defend and protect Creamline and defeat Zheytsu.”
“We’re just going to give our heart and soul to just play the best that we can and believe in our team until the very last game,” Kolomoyets added.
