Ateneo-La Salle goes beyond the game.
The Ateneo-La Salle rivalry has stood through the test of time and has covered pretty much every sport you can think of.
But Creamline Cool Smashers veteran Fille Cainglet-Cayetano, who's a former Ateneo Blue Eagle, took this age-old rivalry to a whole another level.
During the birthday of former Lady Spiker libero Melissa Gohing-Nacino and actor Rocco Nacino's child, former and current volleyball players who played for La Salle and Ateneo posed for a snap.
Included in the photo were former Blue Eagles Dzi Gervacio and Jem Ferrer, while on the La Salle side, present were Cha Cruz, Aby Marano, Kim Fajardo, and Majoy Baron.
But here's where Cainglet-Cayetano made the Ateneo-La Salle rivalry beyond sports.
In her caption on Instagram, Cainglet-Cayetano called on Gervacio and Ferrer to "step it up," saying that La Salle is ahead in babies.
Yes, that's right—ahead in babies.
Ferrer responded with, "Taga-buhat kami."
Of course, Cainglet-Cayetano was only kidding, but maybe in the future, these former Ateneo players will have kids of their own.
Fans though would definitely enjoy seeing former La Salle and Ateneo volleyball legends together and maybe even on the court for one more time.
