The Adamson Lady Falcons may have found their next star.

During the team's thrilling four-set victory over the UE Lady Red Warriors, the Lady Falcons turned to transferee Barbie Jamili and she unloaded 20 points on 18 attacks and two blocks, to go along with 12 excellent digs.

Jamili, a former Far Eastern University prospect, came in clutch for the Lady Falcons as she delivered several points during the extended frames in the third and fourth set.

After not playing in Adamson's first three games, the 20-year-old outside hitter remained patient as she repaid coach JP Yude's trust during an emotionally charged match versus UE.

"Thank you po, coach [JP] kasi binigyan mo ako ng chance na maka-help sa team. Thank you din po sa patience," Jamili said during the post-game press conference.

"[Mindset ko is] patience sa sarili kasi darating at darating din naman 'yung time na para sayo talaga," she added.

Coach Yude, meanwhile, was more than pleased with how Jamili and the rest of the Lady Falcons bounced back after their straight-sets loss to the NU Lady Bulldogs last Wednesday.

"Very good talaga 'yung nilaro niya [Barbie] ngayon kasi after nung game namin nung NU sabi ko, mas try na small lineup basta aggressive din. Kinausap ko sila, sabi ko, need trabahuin 'yung pasa ninyo kasi 'yung atake nandun pero 'yung pasa [wala]," said Yude.

"Ngayon, kumbaga good job for them, pinakita talaga nila 'yung pinaka the best nilang game," he added.

Jamili will look to follow up her performance next Saturday, March 9 as Adamson faces the FEU Lady Tamaraws at the Mall of Asia Arena at 4:00 p.m.
