No Mohamed Tounkara for the UST Growling Tigers on Saturday, October 19.

The UAAP handed out the decision after UST's foreign student athlete incurred two technical fouls against the De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers last Wednesday, October 16.

Tounkara received his first technical foul at the 5:41 mark of the first quarter, due to an act classified as "taunting" under FIBA rules.

With 3:38 remaining in the fourth quarter, Tounkara was assessed a second technical foul, also for taunting.

La Salle won that overtime showdown, 94-87.

Two technical fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct results in an automatic ejection and a one-game suspension.

Tounkara will surely be missed, as he is the top scorer for the Growling Tigers--ranking second in the league with 14.0 points per game by the end of Round 1. Nic Cabañero is third with 13.57 PPG.

The Growling Tigers (4-5) will take on the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles (2-6) at the UST Quadricentennial Arena at 12:00 p.m.

Ateneo is coming off a victory against the NU Bulldogs.
