After John Calisay’s ejection, Adamson 3-and-D specialist Manu Anabo aims to take it up a notch in Final Four playoff.
Count on Manu Anabo to fill whatever role the Adamson Soaring Falcons need, as the San Marcelino squad goes head-to-head with the UE Red Warriors for the last Final Four spot remaining on Wednesday.
With a suspension looming for John Calisay following his ejection in their previous game against the Ateneo Blue Eagles, Anabo will likely play a bigger role in their do-or-die game for the 4-seed.

Recruited for his defense, Anabo is ready to step it up even more.
“Staying ready lang [ang kailangan]. Malalaman naman natin 'yan kung wala talaga siya makakapag-adjust sila coach sa practice and mas higitan pa [namin 'yung laro] kasi do or die na 'yun. It will be last or may next game pa,” Anabo said after their win over Ateneo last Saturday.
Though not usually one of the go-to scorers for Nash Racela and the Soaring Falcons, Anabo proved to be a revelation in their biggest game of the season.
With their backs against the wall, the 6-foot-2 cager broke away from his usual forte on defense and likewise contributed on the other end — finishing with 13 points in the convincing victory that kept their season alive.
Now that the stakes are even higher, he’s willing to do even more.
“Yung [mindset ko 'yung] sinabi ni coach Nash na wala na ititira talaga. Ito, lahat na talaga wala nang bubunutin na ititira sa bulsa lahat ilalabas na namin sa next game namin going to the Final Four.” said Anabo.
Adamson faces UE on Wednesday, November 27, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
