Familiar faces will reinforce Hong Kong Eastern in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup.

The second guest team to see action in the PBA in the last three seasons, Eastern are bringing in Hayden Blankley, Glen Yang, and Kobey Lam as part of their lineup for the mid-season joust.

The trio notably played for the Bay Area Dragons in the Season 47 Commissioner’s Cup, topping the eliminations and reaching all the way to Game 7 of the Finals.

Unfortunately for Blankley, Yang, and Lam, they lost to Ginebra in front of record crowd of 54,589 at the Philippine Arena.

Nevertheless, the three were pivotal in Bay Area’s campaign then, all averaging in double figures.

Lam averaged 13.6 points for the Dragons and had a 30-point outing in Game 4 of the Finals, which Bay Area won to tie the series against Ginebra.

Blankley averaged 13.4 points and 7.1 rebounds, while Yang was steady at 10.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game.

Also in the Hong Kong Eastern lineup is Cameron Clark, who played as import for NLEX and San Miguel in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
