After the mystery surrounding his next destination following his exit from Blackwater, Troy Rosario now has a new PBA home in Ginebra.
Troy Rosario is officially a Gin King.
This after the PBA released on Monday, Nov. 25, the official lineup of teams for the Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup.
Rosario is joining naturalized Filipino Justin Brownlee, Scottie Thompson, Japeth Aguilar, and RJ Abarrientos in a Ginebra team that looks eager to bounce back after a stinging loss to TNT in the Governors’ Cup Finals.
The former no. 2 pick should definitely be a valuable addition for the Gin Kings that grappled with the absence of injured big man Isaac Go last conference.
The new conference unveils on Wednesday, Nov. 27, with guest team Hong Kong Eastern debuting against Phoenix.
Gametime is set at 7:30 p.m. after the opener between Converge and Terrafirma Dyip at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig. Ginebra's first game will be on December 11 against NLEX.
