Jema Galanza and Tots Carlos have answered the call for national duty.
Coming off a historic bronze finish in the 2024 AVC Challenge Cup for Women, Alas Pilipinas receives a major boost as the prolific duo of the Creamline Cool Smashers is now part of the national team training pool.
Alas head coach Jorge Souza De Brito confirmed the development to One Sports on Tuesday afternoon, June 11.

Both Galanza and Carlos begged off from national team duties during the Challenge Cup due to Creamline’s vacation in Spain, following their title conquest in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
The two will reunite with decorated playmaker Jia De Guzman, the Alas Pilipinas captain who emerged as the Best Setter in the Challenge Cup.
Also part of the training pool are National University stalwarts Bella Belen, Alyssa Solomon, and University of the East standout Casiey Dongallo.

Staying put in the squad are Sisi Rondina, Eya Laure, Fifi Sharma, Vanie Gandler, Angel Canino, Thea Gagate, Dawn Macandili-Catindig, Jen Nierva, Faith Nisperos, Cherry Nunag, Dell Palomata, Arah Panique, and Julia Coronel.
Alas Pilipinas are currently gearing up for the 2024 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Challenger Cup, which will take place from July 4 to 7 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.
