Joining Bagunas for the first leg of the SEA V.League are Josh Ybañez, Vince Lorenzo, Jade Disquitado, Kim Malabunga, JP Bugaoan, Noel Kampton, EJ Casaña, Joshua Retamar, Rwenzmel Taguibolos, Leo Ordiales, Lloyd Josafat, Louie Ramirez, and Michaelo Buddin.
Coaching Alas is Angiolino Frigoni. The Italian coach is set of his Philippine debut after taking over the national team from Sergio Veloso.
The first leg of the SEA V.League is hosted by the Philippines, with games being played at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on August 16-18.
Bagunas re-joins the national team for his first official tournament under the Alas Pilipinas banner.
He initially missed the AVC Challenge Cup for Men in June due to his commitment to Win Streak in Taiwan.
