Former CSB guard Miguel Oczon already had his “Welcome to the KBL” moment.

Playing in just his second game for Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus, Oczon already played hero, drilling the game-winning three to secure an 83-82 victory over the third-ranked Suwon KT Sonicboom Saturday.

Oczon punched in the clutch three with 10.5 seconds left, much to the delight of his new home crowd. He finished with a team-high 23 points, to go along with five assists.

After the Blazers Final Four run in the NCAA Season 99, Oczon chose to forgo his remaining years of eligibility to turn pro, taking over the Asian Quota Spot of Ulsan that RJ Abarrientos occupied last year.

Oczon is the latest Filipino in the KBL, joining Rhenz Abando, SJ Belangel, Ethan Alvano, Dave Ildefonso, Justin Gutang, Juan Gomez de Liaño, Avan Nava, and Calvin Epistola.
