High-flying Filipino baller Rhenz Abando shared he was "getting better" two weeks after suffering a bad fall in the Korean Basketball League (KBL).

Abando spoke about his condition in a video posted by the Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters on Friday.

"Now I feel better than the first day when I got the injury. I feel better. For the past two weeks, I'm getting better," Abando said, with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

"To all the fans of JKJ, now I'm getting better. Please support my team and just wait for my comeback."

Last month, the Asian import for Anyang suffered a nasty fall when he was pushed by Goyo Skygunners import Chinanu Onuaku during a rebound attempt.

Abando fell on his back, and the back of his head hit the floor as well. He suffered lumbar vertebrae 3 and 4 fractures, wrist ligament sprains, and a concussion, according to Korean sports website Jumpball.

Onuaku was fined three million won, or roughly 127 thousand pesos, for the incident.

An Anyang official said Abando would need at least four weeks to recover, as quoted by Jumpball last year. However, the Filipino's return could be delayed further, as reported by basketball blogger @baekpd1983.

Come back stronger, Rhenz! We'll see you soon.
