Ray Parks Jr. continued his consistent scoring streak with 14 points, but the Osaka Evessa succumbed against Utsunomiya Brex in a close one, 76-77, Saturday in the B.LEAGUE.

The game marked Parks Jr.’s fifth consecutive double-digit scoring performance.

Parks was coming off an 18-point showing in an 89-84 win against fellow Asian Quota Player Kiefer Ravena and the Yokohama B-Corsairs earlier this week.

With the narrow loss, Osaka saw its two game-winning streak snapped, dropping to 11-9 for the season in the Western Conference.

Across 19 games this season, Parks Jr. has been a standout for the Evessa, averaging a career-high 16.8 points, to go along with 4.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.1 steals per game on 47-39-85 shooting splits.

Both teams will play again tomorrow, December 15.
