The Alphas completed a two-game sweep of Shiga in the 2024-25 Japan B.LEAGUE season, scoring an 88-78 win Monday to cap a year’s schedule in the B1.
Koshigaya improved to 8-18 on back-to-back victories.
Kai Sotto logged another double-double, finishing with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks. It’s Sotto’s 12th double-double in 24 games so far this season.
Through December 30 games, Kai is the only B1 player averaging a double-double, going for 14.5 points and 10.0 rebounds.
Reiju Sasakura led the way for the Alphas with 20 points, while Time Soares and Shun Matsuyama were also in double digits with 15 and 12 points, respectively.
The Lakes got 30 points from Brock Motum in the loss.
