Akari Chargers star Fifi Sharma capped off her year by fulfilling a longtime goal: playing beach volleyball.
Currently enjoying a holiday in Boracay with her family, Sharma joined the Boracay Volleyball Club (BVC) for friendly matches.
There, Sharma traded the indoor court for the sandy shores of one of the Philippines’ most iconic destinations.
"Just fulfilling my dream of becoming a beach volley player," Sharma wrote in her Instagram story repost.
In a separate Instagram post by the Boracay Volleyball Club, Sharma could be seen enjoying the friendly matches, where she showcased her adaptability as she adjusted to the sport’s different dynamics.
Known for her height and skill in indoor volleyball, Sharma seamlessly transitioned to the challenges of beach volleyball, impressing BVC members with her performance.
While Sharma remains focused on her indoor volleyball career with the Chargers, this experience added another memorable chapter to her 2024 and offered a glimpse of her versatility as an athlete.
Sharma and the rest of the Akari squad will be back on January 18 when the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference resumes as they face the PLDT High Speed Hitters at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
