James chose Arizona over Duquesne University and Ohio State University.
Following the announcement, his father, LeBron, shared his excitment on Bryce's commitment to the Wildcats.
"🐻 DOWN??!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS MAXIMUS!! SO PROUD OF YOU!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤎🤎🤎🥺🥺🥺🤴🏾," James wrote in his post.
This commitment makes Bryce James the second of LeBron’s sons to play Division I basketball.
Bronny had a brief collegiate stint at USC before turning professional and being drafted by the Lakers, where he made history by playing alongside his father in an NBA game.
Bryce joins Arizona’s 2025 recruiting class under head coach Tommy Lloyd, alongside five-star prospect Dwayne Aristode.
The Wildcats, currently 7-5 on the season, are building on recent successes, including an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance last year.
Arizona boasts a rich basketball legacy, with several alums excelling in the NBA, including Hall of Famers Steve Kerr and Jason Terry, as well as standout players like Andre Iguodala, Deandre Ayton, and Lauri Markkanen.
