The world no. 147 showcased her composure and skill, outclassing Preston with her consistency and precise execution as she moved on to the semifinals, edging her closer to her first title in 2025.
Eala's dominance was evident in several key statistics. She matched Preston with one ace apiece but had fewer double faults (4 to 2) and a more reliable first serve, winning 73% of points on her first serve compared to Preston's 67%.
Eala held a decisive edge on second serves, winning 41% of points to Preston’s 29%.
