Filipina-American gymnast Levi Jung-Ruivivar, who competed in the Olympic Games Paris 2024 Olympics, is the newest addition to Viva Artists Agency's roster of stars.

The sign-up was announced on Thursday, August 29.

The deal will initially focus on brand partnerships and modeling opportunities, though she remains open to acting projects in the future. Jung-Ruivivar though assures that training and qualifying for Los Angeles 2028 will remain her top priority.

Levi's father is half-Filipino actor Anthony Ruivivar. He is known for the role of Carlos Nieto in the TV series Third Watch. He was also a recurring character in Scream, The Haunting of Hill House, Turner & Hooch, and NCIS: Hawaii.

Anthony Ruivivar also lent his voice as Bruce Wayne in Beware the Batman. He also made TV appearances in CSI, Numbers, Criminal Minds, Chuck, Lie To Me, The Good Wife, Burn Notice, The Mentalist, Castle, and Quantico.

Levi's mother Yvonne Jung is also an actress who appeared on Third Watch and ER.

Now, Levi is following in the footsteps of her parents in showbusiness.

"I’ve always had a passion for the entertainment industry. I don’t know if it’s just the way I was born or if it has to do with my parents both being actors," she said during the Viva press conference.

"Since I was a younger gymnast, I made it a point to post more consistently and put myself out there," the 18-year-old added.

Levi said she chose to entrust her acting and modeling career to the talent agency because she believes that they can greatly help her.

"I felt that signing with them would help me more with these deals and allow me to achieve more of my high-reaching goals. There’s only so much you can do on your own through social media."

"So, I was really hoping that by signing, I would be able to reach a larger audience, specifically in the Philippines as well," she noted.

Levi Jung-Ruivivar is also one of the Filipino Olympians who were recently honored at Malacañang, along with fellow gymnasts Aleah Finnegan, Emma Malabuyo, as well as golfer Dottie Ardina.
