It was probably the best PBA All-Star Game in recent memory.

Unlike the previous editions of the spectacle, the game was competitive from start to finish to the delight of the fans in Passi City, Iloilo.

But Paul Lee was the highlight of Sunday’s match at the City of Passi Arena.

Lee made it rain from the 4-point line, drilling in 7 from that range on his way to 32 points and 5 rebounds in the 140-136 win over Team Scottie.

“He can shoot anywhere,” said Team Japeth coach Tim Cone of Lee.

With the tour-de-force performance, the Magnolia Hotshots star was hailed the All-Star MVP.

As a matter of fact, he is the biggest winner this weekend.

Before bagging this accolade, he also won the 3-point shootout. His team also edged Team Scottie in the traditional danceoff.

When asked about his accomplishments on Sunday, Lee was almost at a loss for words.

“Sobrang saya. Lahat ng sinalihan ko, napanalo namin. Hindi ko alam nararamdaman ko. Sobrang happy lang na nakapagpasaya tayo dito sa Iloilo,” said Lee, who also received P30,000 for the MVP plum.
