With a bigger role for the Cignal HD Spikers, Judith Abil knows much is expected of her as they continue on with their 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino campaign.
Judith Abil bounced back in a big way for the Cignal HD Spikers after just a four-point outing in their previous PVL All-Filipino Conference match against the Creamline Cool Smashers.
Abil finished with a game-high 13 points built on 10 attacks, one block, and two service aces, leading the HD Spikers past the Capital1 Solar Spikers in straight sets, 25-12, 25-15, 25-17, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Thursday, Feb. 6.
The goal for the quirky opposite spiker? Simple—-score for the team.
Since joining the team as a free agent before the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference, Abil has been impressive for Cignal, whether as a libero or a spiker.

The former UE standout has since been given a much bigger role for the HD Spikers following the departure of veterans Ces Molina and Riri Meneses.
Abil is taking the higher expectations as a challenge, given the confidence boost by coach Shaq Delos Santos and the rest of his coaching staff.
Abil and the rest of the Cignal squad will for back-to-back wins against the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles next Thursday, February 13, still at the PhilSports Arena.
