Justin Brownlee led Barangay Ginebra to a commanding 122-105 win over the San Miguel Beermen in Game 1 of the Governors’ Cup semifinals on October 9.
Brownlee exploded with 20 points in the third quarter, including three four-pointers, helping Ginebra outscore San Miguel 34-20 in that stretch.
He finished with five four-point plays, three triples, and eight rebounds, earning Player of the Game honors.
Brownlee's stellar performance helped Ginebra pull away in the second half, building a 24-point lead.
Game 2 is set for October 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
