Rain or Shine pulled off a 110-109 escape act against TNT in Game 3 to register its first win in the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup semifinals on Sunday, Oct. 13.

After a subpar outing in Game 2, Aaron Fuller made his presence felt this time at the Dasmarinas City Arena in Cavite with his double-double of 26 points and 16 rebounds.

Down 107-109 in the dying moments, Fuller scored on a layup in transition while drawing a foul.

The hulking import made the bonus free throw for the final score as the Elasto Painters finally notched a victory after dropping its first two games in the best-of-seven contest.

Santi Santillan backstopped Fuller with 20 points and six rebounds, while Jhonard Clarito added 15 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Rain or Shine spoiled Poy Erram’s best game yet in a Tropang Giga uniform, where he poured 27 points that went with five rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks.

The Elasto Painters also negated Rondae Hollis-Jefferson's triple-double effort of 23 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. He also got two steals and a block.

Game 3 is set on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.
