Defending champion San Miguel Beermen aim to end their two-game skid as they face the Magnolia Hotshots in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup on Sunday, Jan. 12, at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. as they day's main game.

Currently at 3-4, San Miguel has struggled to find its bearings in the mid-season tournament that already saw the Beermen made an import switch twice.

The defending champion's most recent outing was a frustrating 81-93 defeat at the hands of Ginebra, where inconsistencies on both ends of the floor were glaring.

Eight-time MVP June Mar Fajardo continues to anchor San Miguel’s efforts, but the supporting cast and new import Jabari Narcis need to elevate their game if the Beermen hope to reclaim their championship-caliber form.

Magnolia (3-5) also enters the match with its own set of struggles, making this an opportunity for San Miguel to turn its fortunes around and keep its playoff hopes alive.
