She was probably getting more food for sharing.
There is no denying the bond between the Creamline Cool Smashers. It is so strong a bond that they can make fun of each other anytime and anywhere—even in Japan amidst an all-important boot camp in preparation for the 32nd Southeast Asian Games.
On Thursday, the Creamline gang was at it again, this time with Michele Gumabao poking fun at none other than The Queen herself, Alyssa Valdez. Gumabao, named Best Opposite Spiker in the PVL All-Filipino Conference, posted an Instagram Story of a smiling Valdez clutching with both hands four different food items, including what appears to be a chocolate drink.
Naturally, Gumabao made sure to give Valdez some good-natured ribbing, telling The Phenom, “You’re holding so much, hindi mo makakain ‘yan lahat.”
“Takaw mata ka nanaman,” Gumabao added.
Here's Valdez caught in the act:

Valdez, though, was having none of it and turned the tables on her beauty queen teammate.
“I have you, MG, I have you,” Valdez told Gumabao, with a wide smile and a few chuckles in between.
Incidentally, the video began with Valdez and Gumabao singing “Happy Birthday” to fellow Cool Smasher Ced Domingo, who turned 24 also on Thursday. And evidently, she also has evidence of Valdez’s takaw mata food-buying spree.
To be fair to The Phenom, she probably needs the carbs for her recovery. And, well, like she said, she can always share her loot with Gumabao.
