Admit it: You rarely open up to your parents growing up. But if there’s someone who knows everything about your dreams, struggles and, well, secrets, it’s your bestfriend.
Heck, your BFF probably knows more about you than you do.
Such was the set up between volleyball besties Mika Reyes and Jessy de Leon of the PLDT High Speed Hitters.
In a video posted by the team’s official Instagram page on National Best Friend Day, Reyes revealed De Leon as someone she can count on when the going gets tough.
“She’s very encouraging. Hindi ka niya hahayaan ma-down,” she said of the former UST Golden Tigress. “At the same time, sasabihin niya sa 'yo ‘yung pagkakamali mo rin.”
De Leon also bared Reyes is not as confident when it comes to fashion. She asked fans to tell the former De La Salle Lady Spiker, “Bagay sa kaniya kahit ano.”
“Mas maging confident sa pag-experiment ng clothes niya. kasi alam mo 'yung may gusto siya suotin pero ayaw niya kasi feel daw niya 'di bagay sa kanya,” De Leon said when asked what she wants her buddy to be better at in the same video.
“Eh hello, bagay sa kanya kahit ano pero ayaw niya maniwala. Guys, kayo nalang mag sabi sa kanya.”
