The Captain wants Akari to push forward.
The Akari Chargers remain winless in the PVL Invitational Conference, but they made sure to fight back in a five-set affair against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers on Tuesday night.
Chargers captain Michelle Cobb, who missed the game due to sickness, couldn't help but praise her teammates.
"I'm really proud of my teammates for stepping up today and giving what they could," she said in a statement posted by Akari on Instagram.
Akari's search for the very first win in the conference will not be easy by any standards because their next opponent will be the unbeaten defending champions Creamline Cool Smashers.
Cobb knows it will take more effort to get over the hump.
"Everyone did great but then again, we should never settle and should keep pushing forward," she said.
"I hope we can bring the same energy but better on Saturday."
Cobb is expected to don the Akari colors this weekend in what could be a do-or-die game for the Chargers.
