The PLDT High Speed Hitters are assured of a quarterfinals spot in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference after a straight-set win over the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles.
The PLDT High Speed Hitters swept the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, 25-18, 25-14, 25-12, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Tuesday, August 13.
It was enough to secure the quarterfinals berth in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference.
PLDT limited ZUS Coffee to just 12 points in the final frame, while tallying nine blocks in the match overall.
Majoy Baron led the High Speed Hitters with 13 points from nine attacks and four blocks. Import Elena Samoilenko had 14 markers.
The High Speed Hitters become the third team to reach the playoff round, along with the Akari Chargers and Cignal HD Spikers.
