Only one returning import will lead her squad to the semifinals as the PLDT High Speed Hitters and Chery Tiggo Crossvers clash anew in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference.
Two teams with the same strategy heading into the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference.
The PLDT High Speed Hitters and the Chery Tiggo Crossovers both snapped up returning imports in the hopes of bringing them one step closer to their goal of winning a championship.
For the High Speed Hitters, it was former PVL scoring leader Elena Samoilenko, while the Crossovers called up former Philippine Super Liga champion Khat Bell.
Even before the start of the conference, PLDT had already been hampered by injuries, especially after the team announced that star outside hitter Savi Davison would unlikely play for the team in the tournament.

Still, the High Speed Hitters leaned on its strong import in Samoilenko and reliable veterans such as Mika Reyes, Majoy Baron, and Kim Fajardo to lead the team to the quarterfinals.
But standing in their way is Chery Tiggo, who’s had quite the conference, even without stars Eya Laure and Jen Nierva.
Finishing with a 5-3 record as well, Bell has shown that she’s indeed the same superstar import teams feared years ago. The Crossovers also saw the resurgence of Ara Galang and Mylene Paat.
