Justine Jazareno's return could greatly boost the Akari Chargers' campaign in the upcoming 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Is talented libero Justine Jazareno ready to make her PVL return with the Akari Chargers in the upcoming season?
Signs are pointing towards that direction after the former De La Salle Lady Spiker star was spotted during Akari’s team photo for the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference.
Jazareno took a leave of absence earlier in February after announcing her pregnancy and plans prepare for the birth of her first child.
The 24-year-old libero was then a new member of the Chargers back in the Second All-Filipino Conference.
But since months have passed and a new season is upon the PVL, Jazareno could finally make her return for Akari where she will be leading the defense with fellow libero Dani Ravena.
Akari is coming off a near-perfect run during the Reinforced Conference, only falling short in the Finals against the Creamline Cool Smashers.
The Chargers are also fresh off their training in Japan, where they faced several Japanese squads, including Osaka Marvelous--a team in the Japan SV.League.
With Jazareno possibly back in the squad, the Taka Minowa-led Chargers will look to prove that they can also contend in the All-Filipino Conference.
