The Akari Chargers look to complete their podium push as they go for a sweep of the bronze medal series against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in Game 2 of the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference battle for third at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao on Thursday, April 10.

The Chargers pulled off another five-set thriller in Game 1, climbing back from a two-set deficit to snatch the win and move within a game of back-to-back medal finishes.

Eli Soyud fired 24 points while Ivy Lacsina chipped in 20 to lead Akari’s comeback.

But it was libero Justine Jazareno who anchored the defense with 29 excellent digs and a 60% digging efficiency—numbers that will be crucial again as they try to weather Choco Mucho’s hard-hitting scorers.

A win for Akari in Game 2 would mark a strong end to their campaign and earn them another podium finish after placing second in the previous Reinforced Conference.

First serve is set for 4:00 p.m. at the Big Dome.
