The UAAP Cheerdance Competition crown is officially back in Morayta.
The FEU Cheering Squad wowed judges and fans with its Super Mario and old-school video game performance, which garnered 702.5 points.
This is FEU’s second UAAP CDC title in three seasons after winning it all back in Season 84.
“Sobrang saya as in ‘yung saya na hindi mapapantayan ng kahit anong gift. Sobrang saya dahil kung ibibigay, ibigay talaga,” said team captain Sara Quintero.
FEU head coach Randell San Gregorio, meanwhile, gave some wise words after adding another title to his illustrious cheerdance coaching career.
“Just stay dedicated and continue learning, never stop learning. 'Pag feeling mo alam mo na lahat, mali 'yun. There’s always something to learn. In my 20 years of coaching, every year meron ako natutunan na bago,” said San Gregorio.
Aside from the crown itself, FEU also took home several of the awards which included the Stylish Performance award, Most Unique Dance Move award, Best Toss Winner award, and Best Awra & Dance Move award.
The NU Pep Squad, now headed by coach Gab Bajacan, settled for 1st runner-up after its performance paid homage to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley.
NU finished with a score of 697 points, just a few points away from FEU.
Meanwhile, the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe bagged the 2nd runner-up spot after its sizzling Blackpink-themed routine.
UST finished with a score of 684 points.

The Adamson Pep Squad just fell short of their goal of a podium finish as they only had a total of 665 points.
The UP Pep Squad finished in fifth, while just behind them are the UE Pep Squad.
The DLSU Animo Squad placed seventh in the event, while the Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion finished at the bottom of the competition once more.
