The Adamson Baby Lady Falcons completed a perfect season after closing out the NU-Nazareth School in straight sets: 25-18, 25-18, 28-26, in Game 2 of the UAAP Season 86 Girls’ Volleyball Finals at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City Monday.

Adamson showed no signs of pressure in Game 2, pouncing on NUNS in the first two sets.

It was only during the third set that NUNS threatened the Baby Lady Falcons, even taking a late 24-22 lead.

However, Adamson simply could not be stopped, taking the win capped off by a service ace from Abegail Segui.

Shaina Nitura, who was named Finals MVP, once again powered the Baby Lady Falcons with 26 big points, while Segui added 11 markers.

Before the game, Nitura made history being hailed as the UAAP Season 86 MVP, a first for Adamson.

Nitura was also recognized as one of the Best Outside Spikers for the second year running.

She was joined by two other departing Lady Baby Falcons in receiving individual honors with Mary Grace Del Moral receiving the 2nd Best Middle Blocker Award, and Felicity Sagaysay being named Best Setter.

NUNS’ Bienne Bansil claimed the title of 1st Best Middle Blocker, while Celine Marsh secured the 1st Best Outside Spiker award.

Season 85 Kianne Olango, meanwhile, retained her title as Best Opposite Spiker, while IC Cepada earned the distinction of Best Libero.
